Protect yourself
What actually works.
Use an EPA-registered repellent with DEET, picaridin, IR3535 or oil of lemon eucalyptus, and permethrin on clothes for the Everglades.
Drain and Cover
Your weekly yard check.
The Florida Department of Health's "Drain and Cover" checklist. The yellow fever and Asian tiger mosquitoes breed in containers as small as a bottle cap, within a few houses of where they bite.
